 | Hi all! I tried configuring my phone's email client and many java apps to get gmail but they keep failing. Can any of you guys tell me a simple free pop3 email provider with no security settings, encryption etc etc to fuss with? Thanks a lot!

 | Have you tried Google's new Gmail app? See this thread I had the same problem trying to set up Gmail on my phone. I can check my .mac email without any problems but I couldn't get Gmail set up to work so I've just been using the web based version and it seems fine. Now Google has their own Mobile Java App and it seems to work very well. It just takes more steps to access it on my phone than the bookmark for gmail.com

 | Yea I tried the google's gmail app. its fine but it does not allow me to see the mails while im off-line. and it dont let us to write few emails and save them in the outbox while in offline mode. I have to pay each time i connect, so i need to be offline while i compose a few mails and then connect once to download new messages and sent the ones i have saved in outbox..
 Thanks ppl!
