From looking at the way my dads XDA handles data connections I want to be careful in selecting a WIFI phone.

I need something that will scan for an open WIFI network and connect to it automatically, or connect to my own home WIFI network automatically and allow me to make VoIP calls.

A nice camera on it too would be handy.

Any suggestions or experience no this? Did you find it a pain in the neck or is it possible to get it set up smoothly?

No WM5 devices, you activate WiFi, select Connection Manager and all available access points are scanned and listed (no program tells you if there open though), guess it's just trial and error!
