it got frozen when browsing in the menu. i couldn't switch it off,
so i removed the battery, put it back, and now i cannot switch it on.
When i push the NO, nothing happens.
If I connect a charger it charges.
I never did anything unauthorized, it was new 6 months ago, when i bought it from my provider.
Cytech?
anybody else?

I had the exact same problem this summer. The phone just froze and I had to take out the battery. Then it wouldn't start again. Go to your nearest ServicePoint. I got mine back within one week. |

when it charges, can you see the charing in the display as usual? or is the LED just shining red? also, can you turn it on when you have the charger connected? |

What you got to do is this:
1) Go to your nearest SonyEricsson Servicepoint.
2) Ask if they want to load new software in the phone.
3) The problem should be solved by doing this.
4) If not ask the people of the SonyEricsson Servicepoint
if they want to send it back to SonyEricsson.
Greetings,
SK

when i connect it to the charger, the led is shining red, the backlight lights up fog a while and says "charging" and i can see the battery meter moving.
so it looks normal, but i still cannot switch it on.

i could enter that menu, and all buttons are OK, except the NO.

they will clean or change the keydome foil... a common fault on T68m/i |

Cytech, THX.
I put my SIM back into my good, old, extremely reliable 388, and will
visit a service point tomorrow.
by the way, do u think SE have modified sg on that foil, or it will become cracked or dirty from time to time?

the keydome foil has been improved over time... but it still is very sensitive against dirt and dust... |
