New user here. I looked through the archives, but didn't see anything like this. I have a SE W300i. Only had it a few days, but like it so far. One problem, though.
I ride a motorcycle and have an intercom system with a helmet headset that I use when riding. It allows me to talk to my passenger (via a wire), to other riders (by CB or FRS radio), listen to music/radio input, hear radar detector alerts, and use a cellphone. However, the cellphone connector is a standard 2.5mm headset plug. My previous phone was a SE T616, and it was easy to find a headset adapter for it. I've looked all over, but I haven't been able to find an adapter that lets me use a standard 2.5mm headset plug with the fast-port connector. In fact, the only ones I can find are for 3.5mm stereo headphones, either with or without a built in microphone, depending on whether they are for listening to music only or are for both listening to music and using the phone.
It should be easy to make one, but I haven't found a source for fast-port connectors, either. So far, the only thing I can think of is buying one of the 3.5mm adapters with mic and hacking it, but I was hoping to find something 'off the shelf' if I could.
Anyone seen the adapter I'm looking for?
