Does anyone know if windows explorer can be reinstalled in anyway? Mine keeps intermittently crashing and I can't seem to find the problem. |

You'll have to make a repair of the installation, put you XP cd in and choose the repairinstallation in the first menu. |

Cant ya use system recovery and get it back so?

Thanks for the tip about repair installation.
I can't recover as it has been happening ages on and off and I don't know when it started exactly as I have installed loads of software and don't want to lose them with a recovery from ages ago.
As it happens I think I may have found the problem. I have removed the creative audioHQ bar from the top of my screen (it was on autohide) and the problem seems to have stopped. (Fingers crossed).
I tried that as sometimes when it crashed the autohide switched off and the bar stayed on all the time so I thought it might be related. |
