should be roughly about £10, range can either be 10m or 100m depends on which one you buy, but if you are only going to be using it with your phone, then buy the 10m one. because phones only have a 10m range |

In market, there are various products available, 10, 20, 100, 200, 300 meters. I want to know which is the best brand? if i buy 300meters then will it work on Nokia N70 upto 300 meters? Does it really works 300 meters?

I works in 300 meters if the reciever also has a range of 300 meters. I have a 100meter bluetooth Dongle and use it with my T630, it goes out of range in about 7meters, because of the walls, etc. It depends on both devices. I don't know the brand of my dongle, should be Belkin, not sure. But there are definately better dongles. Mine works the way I want to, and doesn't cause any trouble. Cheers

I have used a Billionton USBBT02 USB Bluetooth dongle for several years without any major problems. The only problems are:
- The drivers are unsigned, so at certain occasions, for example, when I upgraded my Windows XP to SP2, Windows chose it own default bluetooth drivers, which don't function with the dongle. It was a bitt tricky to re-install the Billionton drivers, but it was possible.
- Sometimes, the drivers have problems recognising the phone if there are more than one user logged on to the computer and both users have "used" the bluetooth connection. After all, a PC is still a "personal" computer, i.e. intended to be used by one user only.
- Sometimes, when returning from hibernate mode, the bluetooth icon is red, i.e. the bluetooth service is inactivated, and the only way to activate it is to remove the bluetooth dongle and re-insert it again.

Please Help
Today I bought a new ENTER Bluetooth USB Adapter (Dongle) upto 200 meter Range for my Nokia N70.
While installing am getting error "Device Not recognised".
1st time i installed the software (IVY) first then plugged the USB Adapter, it gave me error. I uninstalled the software & unplugged it.
2nd time I plugged the Dongle first & it gave the same error. I installed the software, but still its not working. IVY display says " Please Insert Bluetooth Device". Operating system says " Device Not recognised". I tried unplugging & plugging it many times. Tried on both USB slots of my pc.
My PC has on board USB v1.1.
On the box of Bluetooth the following is written:
-Bluetooth V1.6 compliant
-USB UHCI/OHCI spec 2.0 complaint
-working distance 0-200 meter
-Works with Bluetooth enabled mobile phones
Can any1 help me in this regards...
