One of the usual design path by Samsung is by playing around with the add-on features. Samsung SCH-B540 is using one of its slim phone design, but with Digital Media Broadcast capability.
Featuring a 14.9mm body, the clamshell phone 'SCH-B540' is able to receive DMB for portable entertainment. The 1.6 million colors screen is certainly providing a better color output on the display screen. There are also dual speaker design at 2 side of the display screen, when it is twisted horizontally. Not satisfied with the QVGA screen? You can always use the TV Out port to watch the media on a much bigger screen. Other standard features include the music player, VOD/MOD services, 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth and file viewer.

This is nice, but if I'm not mistaken these won't work on a GSM network. They should make a SGH version.
