I have purchased a couple of those generic 3.5 audio adapters off Ebay for my W810. You know, the ones without the mic and just a three inch cord. Problem is they don't seem to stay connected. I'll be walking along and all of a sudden music is blaring out of my handset. I'm curious if Sony Ericsson themselves have released this type of short adapter yet or if anyone may have links to sites with more reliable quality. Also saw a version once with no cord at all, just the Fastport adapter with a 3.5 jack in the side but can't seem to find it anywhere again. Any ideas will be grandly appreciated. Thanks all.

I don't think SE have ever released a 3.5mm adapter...other than with the HPM-70's.

Yeah, I didn't think so myself as I couldn't find one on their site. Does anyone else have a problem with these generic adapters falling out? The bundled adapter/headset stays connected just fine but I detest the overall lopsided design and awkward weight issue too much to use it. Seeking a quality adapter or perhaps a different SonyEricsson earbud design with a more centered concept that isn't as heavy. Any ideas guys?

Never used a generic adaptor but my HPM-80 used to fall out all the time. I tried different phones, and different HPM-80's but it was all the same.
