does anyone in australia sell de-branding kits for the k800i, or can anyone refer me to a service cenrte, im guessing itz illegal here i dunno, any info would be appreciated, thankz

It's not illegal to debrand or unlock a phone in Australia, or anywhere else. Do a forum search, thats how I found out how to debrand my k750. Is the optus software pervasive? That stupid Zoo logo eh?

its not illegal, but it MAY void your warranty should you need to take it to a service centre one day and they notice. But of course there is a chance they may not notice at all.

Seearch for programs like Davinci or Wotan Server on google. Or there is setool etc etc....and yes, do a search on this forum to for k800i debranding, you will find plenty Its a fairly easy process

mmm!! my smile widenz. dont care bout legality or warrenty 4 that matter,n yes that bloody penguin. using my telstra 3g sim, just wanted logo off main screen and in menu, anyways cheers 4 da info!!!!!
