Why to unlock the phone?
Does the phone using in China area (CMCC) need to be unlocked??

the reason of unlocking is to have a freedom in your phone it's cool, that you have all the options and you can change what ever you want.

is your phone locked to a specific sp, if it is you need to unlock it if you are trying to use it with anothe simcard. but if it is not locked than you should not worry... use search with the unlocking quiery you will get soooooooo much information...
