To those who want to encode videos for P990:
use Nero Recode 2. There is a profile setting there for PSP (320x240) , then set the video quality to 200kbps, then start encoding!
steps:
1. open STARTSMART (menu from Nero 6)
2. choose 'Recode 2'
3. choose 'Recode DVDs and Videos to Nero Digital'
4. click 'Import files' (get the source video you want to encode), click 'Add title' ( you can encode as many as you want), then 'close'
5. Uncheck the 'fit to target' box
6. Slide the 'Video Quality' to 96kbps to 262kbps ( higher quality, higher file size) . For me optimum is 200kbps, 96 kbps is also watchable ....
7. click 'next'
8. select output folder, here you can also click 'nero digital settings' to choose: encode method (high quality encoding 2-pass)
quality/speed ( best quality)
advanced (default)
keyframes (default)
matrices (default)
9. click 'Burn'
10. ENJOY!
