k850 (sofia) should be announced at 3gsm....Network testing is already underway in Europe and mass production is due for early 1q.
Or perhaps there is an earlier announcement.... ??

Yes, I know, but there is only one pic of whole K770i back, which is dark and with flash on it. And I would like to see the back of black version in daylight, if possible  Yeah... I know I can imagine it

But why would  have an announcement a week before 3gsm....Just to show them perhaps? And fully preview them at 3gsm, and then announce more phones there?

No the cybershot phone isn't called K770, but k650i. I made a picture below.

Would people make up their mind whether it's going to be the 650 twins or the 770 twins. Or is it that both twins exist but only one of them have been shown to us and the other are hiding behind a bush and laughing at us?

Going on logic, 6 series is 3G these days(k600/K610/Z610), so I'd go for the twins being 7 series(sounds like BMW  )...

Sony Ericsson has ALWAYS previewed ahead of 3GSM. I presume this is to ensure they get a lot of press (during 3GSM, it's a mad house) and to show to key clients and journalists that aren't necessarily going over to the event.
Many companies also do/did 'prebit' showcases to the press before CeBIT for the same reason - although if everyone does it then it isn't quite so beneficial!!
My name is down for the 6th February event, so I can confirm that it is 100% real.
