yeah, goldenface as long as we see a girl. id love to be introduced to/meet a new girl. im desperate for a new one  . whether her name is sofia, maria or elena. and i actually know a sofia, she is good looking, hopefully the phone sofia is too lol

The iPhone announcement would certainly make others sit up and take notice - they might announce something in an attempt to steal some of the limelight away from Apple.

They announced the 8Gb MS-Pro-Duo a few days ago right?
and how much does the iPhone carry? 8Gb
Sandisk announced 2Gb M2's, too
If sony wants to win in the music and camera department, they might have already done so. It only depends on whether this superiority is reflected by the sales..... Now it's about the user interface, it's a personal thing. I don't think the walkman 2.0 + jogdial is any worse than the iPod interface + clickwheel (minus the coverflow though, of course the coverflow is awesome lol)
this is especially true when you look at the mp3 market. we all remember the bitter comments creative made about the ipod shuffle. and there's a really heavy element of truth in it. the muvos with removable AAA battery, USB plugs, screen, lack of itunes hassle but just UMS, jogdial, competitive price, they are all supposed to work, and they worked really well for me, too. but ipod shuffle sold so much more than the muvos..... ah well.

4Gb MS-Pro-Duo r expensive and with 8Gb MS-Pro-Duo u can get a new mobile
and just like shaliron said befor that may use the M2 for all of there mobiles coz they r very small unlike MS-Pro-Duo

I don`t have a spec list of Sofia, also with security problems and press stuff, what ever.
The 6th of january was for AI/ W880, dunno why it is cancelled.
For Sofia it`s 'too early', more wouldn`t my source tell. *sorry for my bad english, i`m from Holland you know  *
'bout others, the new Mseries device(s) will be announced late 2007. So dont hope for that! That`s all I know folks!
btw, if you don't believe me, read my post a few pages before, about the previous announcement of W200. I was right, as you can see/read!

Might the Ai announcement have been cancelled when they got wind of the iPhone announcement? After all, the rumours about the iPhone were rife and the hype was immense.

No. Ai was ment for the 6th of january. iPhone was announced yesterday (the 9th) so that`s no relative to eachother!

simple logic tells us that the sofia is either as unready as the 3G-iPhone, or as tight+important as the iPhone-before-announcement
some leaks are deliberate, esp when they have anything to do with Nokia (and vice versa)

We have had phones before which had been sprung upon us without even the faintest leak - the K600i being a prime example.
I hope it is as you say and is playing its cards very close to its chest with Sofia because it is an important phone.
Lots of people here are certainly hoping it will be worth the wait.

it better be worth the wait lol im losing a lot of sleep read these rumour threads lol its almost 4am here, and my eyes are half shut.
but i just cant see too much of a jump from k800, only cam and video.
if u look at k750-k800 change the junp wasnt huge, dont know why it would be for this.
but im hoping it is.
its been very very well guarded. something must be good about it.
