I was reading on gsmarena comments about Nokia's N95 and was impressed about this:
"Nice phone with reasonable size. I think Nokia will not be able to compete with the mewly anounced sony erisscon:
-2.6 inch 16m colour display
-109g
-5 mpx, xenon flash, autofocus, 3cm lens
-4 gb of internal memory
-12.6 mm thickness!!
-SVGA video recording!!at 45 fps
-estimated price of $450
-new MP3 player"WALkMAN 3"

I believe that its just a hoax. Why would they release video with 45 fps?

I read those users' opinions, I also read on the same opinions thread about a certain nokia n series with 10 gigabytes, Hdtv and touchscreen. It's just people's imagination running wild trying to outdo each other.

Well this is just a rumour. None of it or part of it could be real. To me, these specs are obviously what we will be expecting from feature phones. Let don't usher in rumours ahead of their time.

Can actual digital cameras record in SVGA 45fps anyway? Most is VGA 30fps, and they are much thicker than a phone with camera. Um, no, and just to make sure, no

That's the most interesting part IMHO (if true). I think he's talking about the diameter of the lenses... and camera phones at the moment are missing high quality lenses. The lenses are the real players in the digiworld. Forget about the pixels. If true, it would mean that the history of compact digitacams is ending.... |
