I noticed that in the Gallery view, Images and Videos are included in the same folder instead of categorising them separately. Is there anyway to seperate them? Videos and images together really make a mess.

Hi all,
I believe the only way to achieve what you want is by using a 3rd party app such as Resco Photo Viewer. Although they will all still appear in your gallery by using Resco you can just pick a folder.

With pictures and videos taken with the camera there is an option in the camera settings menu to store these files in separate maps. They are still bunched under 'Images and video but then when you open this you can have a folder with pictures and one for videos

Hi Dragon Eye,
Sorry to disagree with you they do have seperate folders when useing the file manger for phone memory or memory card but in the Gallery it is together as Images & Video well at least it is on my N93.

sorry i meant gallery.... i used the term folder incorrectly.. (in the filemanager you can do whatever you want..)

so looks like e series is split in the gallery and n series is not... the n93 i had was split though.. can't remember the firmware

bad memory.. i just checked my foot notes lol..

PS...nokia fixed the image gallery it isn't in landscape more anymore.. vertical or horizontal.. something i'm happy about cause i hated the forced horizontal image gallery.

you're right still together but not forced to be horizitonal

so its' an e vs n series thing.. i like e series more and more everyday lol
