Can anyone help with a problem I'm having connecting my P910i to my PC. I had to re-install Windows recently and haven't been able to connect since. Now when I try to install the pc suite and the sync station drivers it comes up with an error saying that wbtapi.dll is missing. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I am also having problem connecting my creative mp3 players but can connect my printer ok.

wbtapi.dll is part of the widcomm bluetooth driver set. You can download it here:

http://www.dll-files.com/dlli[....]d.php?wbtapidownload0UImUDZHiV

Extract it to c:windowssystem then click 'start', 'run' and type in regsvr32 wbtapi.dll and click 'Ok'.

Reboot the PC then try to install the sync suite again. To be honest though, I think the previous poster is right. It sounds like something went wrong during the reinstall and as such it might be worth reinstalling again.

EDIT: Just a thought, did you install ALL of the drivers for your computer's hardware after you reinstalled windows? Are there any exclamation marks or question marks in device manager? Did you install the original drivers that came with the PC or did you download them from the net?

I just tried to download from that link but it comes up with an error. I re-installed the chipset drivers from dell.com and now can get my mp3 players to connect, but still not the phone. When I re-installed windows I had to download the drivers and probably didn't install in the correct order to be honest! I have a yellow question mark in the device manager on com port 3 ( or 4). If I can avoid a re-install it would be handy, I know I need to at some point but would like to avoid it for a while.
