Binsz a forum member on clubsonyericsson made these excellent concepts.

Its name is the P1000i - Zeus - touchscreen and two-way slide.

Play chess with two phones:

This version is the edition. Its name is the W1000i - Siren - touchscreen, two-way slide, and up side down.

Watch movies or become a DJ

Zeus and Siren specifications:

Hardware:
Size - 100 x 50 x 11 mm
Weight - 100-120 gr
Material - stainless steel and tempered glass
Display - 95 x 45 mm and 45 x 45 mm
Every pieces (include camera and terminals) are between the two tempered glass covers.

Software:
This is an intelligent software. It senses the touchscreen displays positions (slide: open - close) and everytime conforms to the situations. The phones keep the contact with the world only wireless technologies (infra, BT, WLAN…) and they use a special kind of battery recharge.

Is the chess board a perminant feature or effect that shows up as a game?
This whole phenomena is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a government agenda.

I think thats preety cool. Seems to be a tad bit big for everyday use but in some lines of business and use it would be useful I guess. Mobile tele for instance would be awsome on that and would be a huge hit.

now think of the dual slider,it is a magician's phone. If you slide it in landscape mode then you have a QWERTY keypad but if you slide it in portrait mode then the phone magically has only a normal keypad

Fantastic designs. So much thought seems to have gone into these concepts.

Very cool, but my only concern would be build quality. We know how recent SE phones have been a little 'dodgy' in that department and anyone who has used the HTC Wizard will know that phones that flip and slide like that are generally quite fragile!

Something tells me if they were ever made they'd be priced in the black diamond range! So Paris Hilton will have two!

Gee, I dunno.. It doesnt exactly give me the whole "sony Ericsson" vibe. Sony Ericsson cellphones have this certain "classy & elegant" look y'know?
