will the HPM-80 work with the SE K618i or K610i? |

I have recently bought a Sony Ericsson K618i for my my gf here at greenhills, san juan metro manila, philippines for only 13,000.00php complete with a 256mb M2. to top it all off, I also bought an original hpm-70 walkman in-ear headset for only 900.00php. Overall, I like the features of k618i. except that it doesnt have a radio, it doesnt have autofocus. And i was kinda wondering why if you switch the camera to either 1Megapixel or 2 Megapixel mode, the zoom does not work in those said modes? does anyone have the same problem? you can only zoom whenever you're in the VGA mode or taking video clips. I find it a bit disappointing but I hope there is a way to fix it. Is there some kind of a software upgrade for it? or is it in the hardware? as for the flash, i can easily buy an MXE-60. As for the radio, has anyone ever tried using the HPM-80 (W900i's standard radio walkman headset) on either the SE K610i or K618i where both have no radio? Is it compatible and did the radio work? please help me with my answers... | |

@mafio - Yup, the K618i has No radio (which I thought it has as what the K600 have) . . . I am really at awe when I took some outside shots using it, much better than that of the K750's .. . for me. Never used the zoom when taking shots, as I know the result will become a bit blurry. Been with me for more than a week, just sold it yesterday  Sorry, I was not able to answer some of your queries here mate . . .

so you sold your k618i already? were you disappointed just like me? I like the physical appearance most especially the glowing orange navi key but there is no radio, no zoom when it is on either the 1MP or 2MP mode. no autofocus. but i am really impressed with the mp3. k750i's camera is much better than k618i's don't you agree? |

@mafio - Nope, I was not disappointed dude . . . it's just that I wanted another fone to buy  (bee like this for 3 years now matey ) . . . . I haven't got much pics taken (new ones, posted some taken from my K750 in 2005 though . . .) with the K750 - lately. But when I took some shots from my K618i - 2 MP, I was really at AWE seeing those  they are truly amazing ! Yes, I really liked the ORANGEY-backlight on the navigation key . . . specially when someone sends me - SMS and MMS, they blink! It also had the blinking RED and GREEN led light on top - SIGNAL (just like with some of the old Ericsson and  models)

Outdoor taken shots were really great ! For indoors . . .
