Personally, I hate contracts. And on a month-to-month basis nothing really beats Fido's rate plans (at least in Canada). Been using my T68m with them for about half a year and in general I haven't had any major problems. I'm not familiar with Rogers' coverage so I can't comment on that. Fido seems pretty strong thoughout the Lower Mainland for me. I did take it out to Harrison once and I couldn't get any service...coverage isn't as good once you start hitting the "fringe" areas, so keep that in mind. You can always try either of them out and switch if you don't like the service.

my answer to you is I was with fido for 2.5 Years and I never Pick up the phone and called them to make a complain, but one day I switch to Rogers AT&T and it was a mistake that I made. Rogers has the widest coverage in Canada, but in the GTA Toronto they have hard time getting the service to be good, Oposit what Fido they have the Best GTA Toronto Covarage but outside toronot it's really bad. also Rogers you have to have Contract, but Fido it is on month to month basies. But let me tell you something, I was talking to a friend of mine who works for Rogers Wirless, he told me Rogers will be the Strongest Better GSM Service In North America, they have 5 Wirless Engineer who are comming from France next week to fix there GSM Network, so I guess that is good for us.
We just have to wait

that is true they are going out of buisness, but there is a new company buying the MCELL (which they are GSM Provider for Fido). the new company is call SMART SIM, or SIM SMARt some thing like that, they have one branch in the Pacific mall now.

well nothing to loose if you get Rogers, because sooner they will be the best, it's like microsoft controling all the PC in the world, Rogers will controll all the GSM Services in Canada, maybe in the North America

What? Who in this thread actually lives in canada? First off i used to work for Rogers 4 7 months! Their network is on Ericsson hardware and software for another year since 2000. And from what i've experienced Fido is more experienced! Technicians from Ericsson help setup their network.
