Hey everyone,

I just got a T68i the other day, and I'm looking for a case that looks nice and will keep it in good condition.

Thoughts?

I've seen lots of different cases, from the your basic cheap leather with plastic covering to condom cases and the like. I'm not quite sure which one to get, what kind of cases do you have, and how do you like it?

well, i got a condom case, and it sucks, nothing good about it, the screen distorts and you can barely see stuff on it, but most importantly some dust will accumulate under that case if you use it, your phone will probably get scrached like that.
another one i got is the ict-13 holster, but it does not cover the entire phone, so it is nice thing to mount your phone on the belt and it does protect the handset for the most part, it also adds bulkiness to the phone though,
so now i ag thinking of getting the ict-14 case, which supposely is good and easy to use...
at this point i don't use any case at all, i like the phone the way it is. but i might get the ict-14 in order to keep my phone on the belt as opposed to keeping it in the pocket... anyway the best cases are the oem ones... ict -13/14 so consider those...

I'm using a condom case too, and although I agree with what you're saying, I think it has a lot of advantages.

First, it will keep the phone looking new and clean, and will protect it from scratches and water spashes.

Also, I find the stock phone too slick, and I know it will fall out of my hand and crash to the floor one of these days. I appreciate the added friction from the condom case rubber.

Also, with my bluetooth headset, I scarcely have to touch the actual phone.

Here's a tip: if dust gets inside the "case", take it off and rinse it out, and then dry it, and should be good as new. I think the condom case is a heck of a lot less cumbersome and more attractive than anything else I've seen out there. There are many choices, but all are ugly, or have bad functionality.

okay i will try to make it as clear as i can... the problem with these condoms is: there is a whole there for the charger and accessories to be pluged it, that place is not really tight so all the crumps and other stuff you have in you pocket will eventually get under the the case and than because of the tension between the phone and the case those little debree particles will end up rubbing agains the plastic resulting in some scratches... i don't know i have and i can always start using it, it just does not seem right, too cheap looking... i use my ict-13 mostly or nothing at all...

the ict-14 is actually what i'm thinking the most strongly about at the moment.

The problem with cases nowadays is that there isn't one designed that doesn't have at least one of five problems:

1. It's useless if you drop the phone.
2. It covers the phone completely and it's a hassle to get out.
3. It makes renders the keypad or joystick even harder to use than usual.
4. It obscures the screen making it difficult to read anything or show the cool looking colors.
5. Butt-ugly.

ICT-14 basically has problem number 2, and once you take it out, you're left with problem 1. At this point, though, that's the best looking one. While ICT-13 isn't too bad of an idea, I usually keep my phone in my pocket rather than my belt buckle , so my options are limited a little bit in that sense.

yeah, i also carry my phone in the pocket, and not mostly but always... and i am afraid if i get the ict-14 (which i still will, it is only 13 bucks) i will look like a nerd with that thing on my belt, i mean i am beyond that stage... the pocket i good enough... ict 13, while does not add much of a protection except to the edges and the back of the phone, still probably the best solution there is, it is not bulcky and you can get a strap attached for extra security....
