hi my shap 903 has decided to stop working. it will not delete any files and it freezes when you try to make or you recive a call 
should i get this flashed or is it hardware?

Sounds a software problem to me. Suggest a master reset if it has, otherwise to reflash.

Yes, 903 can be flashed.....
....a lot of 903s had intitialisation problems when they were released, flashing is quite common due to this; try kingmobilephone.....
