I compared a TAZ screensaver of a T68i and an upgraded T68m(i). I noticed that the T68i is faster...... Any idea? |

did you re-boot both the phones before you did this "speed test"?
Maybe it can depend on how mutch data you have stored in your phone. (If I have a lot of program stored at my calculator (TI-83) it becomes a bit slower) I donīt know if its the same thing with a mobile-phone.

Yes I did...... As a matter of fact the t68m(i) has more memory free when i compared it with t68i

"speed test"  , i like it, sounds intimidating, like a 1/4 of mile but for the phones, wroom wrrroooomm...
yes, indeed the speed depends on the amount of data stored... cause it has to render the giff and then there are other procesess involved, so it slowes down the animation.

in that case... no comment. may be t68m has a slower processor, maybe se really upgraded the i version, not only sw wise but hw as well, who knows...

Then it sounds like the processor oft the T68i you tested is faster then the one in the T68m. |

well, then all agreed: t68i has a larger and more powerfull engine... while t68m might be supped up to compete with the i, however still only a runner up, not the champ...
