K800i Syncro Error |

I want to transfer all my numbers from my K750i. So got the latest PC Suite (Downloaded from Sony Site (.273), and Sycronised my phone with outlook. Successful.
I then connect the k800i and leave on phone mode, then when I sycronise, it seeems to begin, then I get error
1 General Error, Lost Connection. Get this all the time. Tried sync with Outlook and Express. Same thing. Just Contacts, same thing. Different USB, same thing. Had the same with the older PC Suite, then Updated.
Any ideas. |

you can transfer all your contacts from your k750i to k800i via bluetooth directly |

I had the same problem when updating my phone contacts via sync manager and no one seems to know how to resolve it.
One thing I found is that if I delete all the contacts on my phone and then carry out the synchronization afresh, it goes through smoothly without any problem. Hope this helps. |

That's why you should ditch PC Suite and go with MyPhoneExplorer. Google it if you dont know how to find it. |

This problem does not occur if pictures and/or ringtones are not added to contacts.

My phone explorer is a very nice apps. Never have any problem with it and I almost never use SE PC-Suite. |

R1JG001 firmware has resolved the contacts sync problem. |

I had the same problem and I thought it was my phone and I even reflashed my phone twice.
reinstalling SE PC suite seemed to be the only thing that worked for me. |
