As I post this from my w810i I noticed that I have to log in on every page. Is this normal?

Is this in the wrong forum or has nobody ever visited Esato from a mobile phone?

It works on every other site, so I don't think it's the phone settings.

Pretty bizarre, the first post was written from my phone as well, but only the last one has the caption saying it was "posted from a w810i".

Anyway, I found a different page to login on (wap) and it said to bookmark that page to save my login details. I bookmarked it but even using it doesn't seem to help.

Yes I have cookies enabled, and I still have to log in every time. Is this normal for these forums?

edit added: I am on Cingular in the USA

I raised this before but nothing happened. My cookies are enabled but I get logged out after 30s or so. Then if I want to reply I have to go back reenter my username and pw and sometimes do the whole post again.

So where are the moderators? Is it something they are aware of or can fix?

if you are using the "wap access" to enter the HTML version of the site, you need to login everytime.

if you change the "wap" to "HTML", then the cookies will be stored, and you need to login only once.

this option is under "internet settings" > "internet profiles" > "more" and "settings"

can someone confirm this?

@rhett121

You are changing IP address between many of you posts. Cingular is tracked, and so is Cox. You will only stay logged in when using the same IP. If the IP address change, new login data is required. The This message was posted.. string is attached messages posted from the WAP version of the forum. Not the mobile.esato.com version

Thanks laffen, that makes a little more sense. I will play with it a little more as I prefer the WAP site (on my phone) but only just discovered it recently.
My login stays current on the computer but on the phone I have to log in each time I visit, maybe it's time I got a shorter name and password just to speed along.
