I have R2e006 on my T68i is that modern or should i update it.
Would appreciate some advice.

Softwareloss can occure, but when you go to a SP they can save the info using the "user data swap" function on Emma2
as for the use of updating: the newer the sw the better and more reliable the phone gets, every update gets rit of some buggslike things soooooo my advice, always get the latest firmware at your local SP

if this r2e sw came with your phone built in, i would not do anything at all, i think r2e was one of the stable releases, and now many people experience bt problems with the r5d's so i would not touch it, mine is also r2e and i have no problems at all, by flashing to r5d all you get is chineese language pack... i am not going to flash mine, and i don't recommend you do anything to your's....my $0.02

but then again, if you flash in the sp (since you are in switzerland) it is riskless, we are here in use have to seek alternative routes, meaning flashing ourselves and that is too risky for me at least, so u will be safe if your phone is flashed by the sp....

Is it true that once you upgrade T68i to R5d.........you get the chinese language for menu as well???? Even my T68i is english verison, not T68ie??? If it is , that cool !!!!!!! I want chineses menu on my T68i !!!!!!
