SMS and T9 speeds are much faster than R2A
I think that R1A was a R2B almost finished ...
They give us new features time by time to make us believe that they are working on it and to keep the mobiles fame alive for longer time...... Like an advertizement Everybody talks and waits R2B . They thought that because of the colour screen everybody is going to buy it. That is what I did!!!!! They keep their good features for later on to keep the phone high to the market.... We could have R2B sooner but they have to follow their economic strategy.

I exchange it with mine T68 for one night. So I have to stay and explore it this night
I was in my best friend's house and I show the T68 his father was having. I showed him the tips and tricks .....and while i was in the service menu I checked the FW ...It was R1A .....I exited the service menu and I realised that the icons of the menu were different...He bought in America the exact day of its release..... I wish I could bring it to you ....but the problem is that the day after tomorrow he leaves(He is a Captain on a boat) Tomorrow morning he is going to upgrade it to FW R2A since R1A is too buggy

Sorry

PS ...there is no lighted joystick

A friend of mine has a T68 with software R1A, and hardware R1A (same as my one). So it is totally compatible with the T68s that we all have!

The R1A is the software that Ericsson is working on, it is this software I think will be named R2B when we will get it in Mars. But it could also be named R3A. Because the number stands for different function or?

You can store 50 images . but that depends on the size of the phone. I stored 35 and now I can't store anymore....I'll make a very small image and try to uploaded multiple times to see how many it can hold.
You can find this browser under (backgrounds, phonebook, and when composing an MMS message) The one in the phonebook is deactivated....don't know why....Maybe it is not supported by the FW R1A. Also the themes look better.... instead of these we have there are other named (winter, summer, spring, autumn) Look an feel better. There is no Tetris!!!!!!

How much memory is it in the phone. You can see that in a meny.

Isnīt the photoalbum (My pictures) located in Fun & Games? I should be. Do you got the composer as well?

Under Settings/Display is there anything about a screensaver or user greeting?

Settings/Battery: Is it there?

Come on... That's just a lot of bull.
Ericsson doesn't release the updated software because there aren't any operators offering MMS. It is supposed to go public in March, that's what've been communicated a long time ago, and according to my sources that's still valid.
A notation: I'm running the MMS software and have been for a while, and the my background images holds more than 80 pictures. It's all about how much memory you have available for different multimedia objects, tunes, pictures, MMS messages etc.
Also, all background images in my phone can be used for picture phone book.

That is what I said....you can find the broswer under 'backgrounds' too.....backgrounds is inside the Games folder. No screensaver option....maybe not yet supported.

I can't check the memory status ....since I have to delete all the images to see how much is left....20 of the images are not mine I can not delete them.

Maybe because my memory is full...that is why the phonbook option is not activated'

I heard that you can store up to 50 backgrounds..... I can only upload 38...I will try to remove some and include smaller ones

Oh, you probably have an older version of the prototype software. I'm running R1A112.
I remember the older prototype software, where I couldn't delete the images shipped with the software, and the screensaver only blinked by for about half a second.
The screensaver works fine on my phone.
Also I think there's about 650kb of memory for multimedia objects on my phone.

luguff: How many kb memory do you have in your phone?

My friend had stored 58pics, no new themes, and he had ?310kb. He hasnīt got wap so via bluetooth i gave him a picture. When he got it in his phone it came up how many kb free it is in the phone. But you can also check it in some menu if Iīm not wrong.

I wonder how big the memory is in the T68. 500kb maybe?

In the menu the phone reports 500kb of total memory.

I just downloaded all the images in my computer. It says that I have 453kb memory....I think that there is more since I have many Mymelodies and the person who was using the phone used all 15 spaces for Picture B&W creation. I can't store them somewhere ...So that is the maximum I can see
