I was going to update my M600 firmware, but a message apeard me telling that I was going to lose all my data.

What type of data will I loose? Contacts? Email and wap config?

Please help...how can i backup my phone

back up all your datas using sonyericsson pc suite

Did your phone come with a manual? The questions that you ask are in there. Just take the time to read the thing.

Not always true. Mac users do not have the option of using the PC Suite.

could someone tell me the data that I lose if I update the firmware?

I searched in the manual, nothing appeared

Hi, all data on the phone is deleted. After the upgrade is the phone just like it was when it was new. All apponitments, contacts, bookmarks, speed dails etc are deleted. You have to reinstall all programs and if you have personal data for the third party program you have to restore that to.

If prefer to manually restore all programs and data to get a clean installation. But a much easier way is to use a backupprogram.

You are not truthful. You did not read it because it is on page 13 in the user manual. It says that when you upgrade, you will lose all data.

Don't expect any more help from me simply because you lied.

sory men...you were right I had searched in the index and there I saw nothing.

Now I read all in the manuals...an sais the phone is like new. That means I will even lose my company's internet acces configuration....because they are many!!!

and if the answer is yes, will I be able to backup that ...or I will have to ask all the configurations again?
