K800i - Accessories |

I’m looking to “kit out” my k800i when I get it so thought I would ask here for some advice on accessories, firstly and probably most importantly I would like a speaker dock where I can play my mp3’s but also charge the phone – the clearer the sound quality the better, secondly I will want a new memory stick because my 2gb one for my w810i wont fit the k800i but I don’t want to have to pay something silly for a new one so if anyone knows of any cheap places that would also be very helpful (I know that you cant get a 2gb m2), I’m unsure what headphones come with the k800i but would you guys recommend buying some different ones and if so which? Also is it worth buying a screen protector or case for the phone? Anyone else know of any other accessories that are a must have for the phone?
Thanks,
/Ste
I am aware that this is the second time I have posted this but the original was in the wrong part of the forums and it hasn’t been moved to here so i have made a new thread in hope of getting some replys |

You sound abit demanding may be thats why you get no reply. Also have you not thought of searching Google or Sony Ericssons site. Seems kinda stupid to ask for accessories elsewere and not think about checking the phone manufacturer.

Think you are being a bit harsh on the guy after all thats what forums are for, to find out stuff.
A cheap memory stick for your k800i - you can get one here:

I got loads of cheap stuff for mine.
Plus, I would reccomend the HPM-82 for the handsfree as it works very well and as far as headphones go the itech BluePRO Bluetooth stereoheadphones are very cool.
You should be able to get them both at the same website.
Let me know what you end up getting, cheers |

This K800 crystal case from Liv3.com looks pretty good:

Cost only US$5.95. I used to have a crystal case for my old W800. It gives you that shiny look to your phone. Try it. |

I got one of those crystal cases yesterday. It really does protect your phone, but it feels different in your hand and thats something I'm going to have to get used to. Another problem is the hairs and bits of dust that get stuck underneath, so keep a cloth ready! |

i've been using the crystal case since i had the k750 and now the k800.. feels well protected.. although your phone does get bulkier. but that's not an issue for me |

The silicone cases are very good for the k800i, but it does tend to pick up dust a lot and stick to the front of it. It also seems to make the screen look smaller...or else it's just me, lol.
The great thing about the one I have is that it has a transparent keypad...it's still silicone, but a very thin layer.

is that the one you got of ebay? there it shows the keypad covered. I've still not sure about my crystal case, nothing seems as nice as just having the bare phone, but I dont want it to get damaged |

Yeah, on ebay it looks like it's all covered, but the keypad is done very lightly that the keys show through it.
