Well,i was allways angry because i could'nt zoom pictures in .png format, altought the 'zoom' option was available for .jpg/.jpeg files. So,i was creative and...here's what i discovered:
1.to zoom in pics in .png format, download a good file manager(a java application[i suggest the Moby Explorer trial http://www.berminsoftware.com)
2.Start the file manager java app and locate the .png pic
3.Go to the menu of the app, select 'rename' and rename the pic from .png to .jpg(for example picture.png to picture.jpg).

No offence but this is the dummest tip i have ever read by any poster.
Be practical u r just changing the format and saying i have zoom pictures in .png
I would suggest to u not to install another software on your hard disk (if u have small one ) only install ACD See 8.0 and u can resize multiple images and also convert format of multiple files at once.

thats pretty rude man. I found the tip interesting, though i havn't got a chance to try it yet. what interests me, is you change the ext and the phone still opens it corectly. I don't know how that'd work, as the extention tells the viewer how to read the information (i thought...). For eg, if i change a fiel in my computers extention, it wont open correctly, even for png and jpg. |

Usefull tip : thanks for that.
Often the file extension is ignored by software (MickeySoft are serious culprits) that looks at the image equivalent of an audio id3 tag to determine file type. |
