2Gb should be out by the end of the year probably followed by a 4Gb version. |

Probably next year - M2 sticks are currently out of stock in HKG, and the reps from the Sony store says they're (1GB) only available in December at the earliest |

Hehe. I think they are talking about Memory Stick Micro M2 - since they call them Memory Stick Micro M2 and not micro SD.
Just my two cent.
Anyway it is a pain to go from Memory Stick DUO pro with 2 GB to 1 GB M2. Shame on you SE - if you had stuck with the DUO we could have had 8 GB now and 1 GB is simply not enough to compete with "real" MP3 players. |

Knowing Sony, expect another format in the near future
resistance is futile. |

Dont do Mem sticks have a theoretical max capacity of 32 GB??
Maybe we'd have 32 gb sticks in 2018!

I am still wondering why some peeps needs a BIG memory stick (card) on their fones I've tried filling a 512 MB M2 some time back. . . . and NEVER really get filled . . . I was forced to place some files which are NOT really of a need, just in order to FILL it
