My wife has a blackberry pearl and when she loads up her msn messenger hers is so much easier to use where i have to refresh the page all the time the new messages just come up instantly on hers. Is there any way we can get a better msn messenger on the k800 than just when i sign in through microsoft live

Open your web browser and go to mobile.msn.com and sign in. This also gives access to MSN local, hotmail and a few other Microsoft web based services! :-)

I've found an MSN Messenger app for the K800 !!! It's features are outstanding. This program, QuickIM, works similar to the desktop version of MSN Messenger. I think it runs on other J2ME phone too. There are other versions of it for non J2ME mobile devices.

It was easy to setup and easy for me yo use. One excellent feature is that I am able to have QuickIM run in the background while I am doing other things, but also being able to use emoticons.

Use Mxit or Migg or reporo both compatible with Google chat, msn, and mirc.
Mxit is my favourite and most used.

Mxit - www.mxit.co.za/wap
Migg - wap.migg33.com
Reporo you can find on getjar.com
