Is it true that K750i doesn't support Memory Stick Pro Duo High Speed cards?I'm going to buy 1GB MSPD and it's High Speed on Friday, they only have High Speed 1GB card, so I have to buy it there, because it is the only shop that has orginal MSPD cards. I bought MSPD 512 MB, 3 months ago and then I discovered it was fake, so I don't want to make the same mistake again. So today when I read in some thread that K750i doesn't support MSPD High Speed I was a bit worried. So please answer if you know. I think it doesn't make sence to make MSPD cards that aren't supported by the devices which use them. Thanks in advance.
Here are some photos of my fake MSPD card:

As far as I know it does support them but it does not work at high speed, only at the normal mem stick pro speed.

I use a highspeed MS on a P910 which is way older than k/w series. The "highspeed" part has no matter when using the specified cards in phones. They can be used on a wide variety of devices capable for squize 80 mbps. So you can calmly go for a highspeed MS pro duo.

I am currently using a 2GB Sony MSPD High Speed that I purchased on Ebay 6 months ago. No problems yet.
good luck,
chris
p.s. How much are you paying? Many reputable websites are selling 4GB sticks for around US$135. |

It will coast around 66 US$(I converted in american dollars). Which is very good price, because 25 days ago it coasted 91 US$. Can you give me some links to that price. Thanks in advance.

your k750i will use anything upto 2GB as far as I know, I want to buy the 4GB soon when the price drops!
Its best to update your phone using SEUS as the old f/w with the K750 had problems with the memorystick as an external drive..

Still couldn't find any store which sold a 4 GB one here tho...

there are many sites that have it around that price. do a search on Google for '4gb pro duo' and you will see some. Look on Froogle, Pricegrabber.com, bizrate.com, etc. but here's one:

Many have excellent return policies, but check to see if they guarantee authenticity. I also have seen them on sites such as Newegg.com and Buy.com, rather well-reputed sites, for similar prices.
good luck,

People are so dumb.... he wants to know if "HIGH SPEED" memory cards work. HE REALLY DOES NOT CARE IF A SANDISK CARD WORKS AS HE IS ASKING IF A SONY HIGHSPEED WORKS.
yes a highspeed sony card will work. you can also use sandisk ultra II. buy the card as you please. I dont think you can find a REAL pro duo card that wont work. |
