 | I use the RSS function on my K800i quite a lot, there are currently 24 feeds I subscribe to, http://mobile.esato.com/rss being the one I read the most.
There are some feeds that I know should be valid, and that are working in other RSS readers, that the K800i will not accept or is not able to parse. The one causing me most trouble, and that I would really love to get on a daily basis, is Slashdot (main feed at http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdot ).

The Slashdot feed is valid according to feedvalidator.org, and the W3 validator at validator.w3.org, so I do not think there is anything wrong with the feed per se.

Are there known limitations in the kinds of feeds that the K800i can parse, and if there is, is there any service on the 'net that can transform a feed to a form that the K800i can interpret?

 | Well, it does not work on my K800i, the /. feed i.e.
Using FeedJumbler I was able to get my phone to accept it, but I still wonder what kinds of feeds that the K800i is able to interpret. The /. feed is valid, so that would not be a problem.

Could it be that the K800i accepts all XML RSS feeds, i.e. RSS 0.90, 0.91, 0.91, 2.0 but not 1.0 being RDF (and not Atom, it seems like)?

I have read through the white paper on the K800i but it only says that it understands RSS, not what specific versions. Anyone here knows?

 | My k800i (vodafone) comes with four RSS feeds pre-loaded. I keep deleting the 3 SE feeds (as I don't want to waste bandwidth keeping them up to date), but each time I turn the handset on again, the SE feeds load again. Grrrr.
Does anyone know how I can turn these SE feeds off permenantly - or even better permanently delete them?

 TIA.
