Can someone help me please, im having problems with my k800 sending files through bluetooth. I receive them fine and when i search for devices i find them but then when it comes to me sending it never works it says communication error, retry? then it says check device is in range. But i have tried it with a few of my friends and i can never send anything, only receive. Someone help please!

Well ive never had this problem with a phone, im guessing you have tryed turning the phone on and off ?

If that fails then i can only think that the phone has some sort of a fault and it might be worth taking the phone back to the shop where you got it from.

Every time i tried to send something via bluetooth it just kept saying error, I thought at first it wasn't configured correcly so had a play around.

I sent the phone back, got a replacement, and the bluetooth on the new phone works. Not sure what was wrong with it, maybe it was faulty from the start.

Can you tell us what phone you are sending or received from.

I havnt had any issues with the K800i BT. However BT has been vastly improved in the latest EROM and Firmware update.

WOW mate after reading your problem it surprised me. The exact problem you had is what I had Thursday and Friday. I was trying to send some beautiful pictures to my Inspiron 6000 and it never established a connection. But it's working fine now.

yeah mine has gone through fine now too, it was the blackberry, it needed to be in the right file in order to receive that file. So for example the picture file to receive pics.
