Voice dialling problems - HBH GV435/K750i |

After experiencing voice dialling problems with a Jabra BT500 and my K750i (and being told by SE that it must be a Jabra problem and vice versa) I've just bought a SE HBH-GV435 to ensure 100% success. What do I find? I can only get a voice dial match via the headset about 1 in 50 times (voice dialling directly to the phone works every time). I've tried soft commands/loud commands, subtle variations of intonation, 2 syllable commands/3 syllable commands, recording without the headset connected/recording with the headset connected - all without success. Trials were done with both phone and headset fully charged, and recording was done in a quiet room. Phone was no more than 1 metre from headset when trying voice dialling. I've emailed SE, but don't expect much. Very pleased with headset apart from that. Can anyone help?? My main reason for using a headset is safe driving, so this is a real pain! |

welcome to the club, I have 9 different se blutooth headsets and the only one that works perfectly is the hbh-300 with voice dialing. you are not alone.

Thanks for reply. Oh dear - is this the best the mighty SE can do? I hope I get some sense out of them.
If anyone else out there has any good ideas. please let me know. BTW I forgot to say that the phone's running R1CA021 (I'm with Orange). |
