Are there any Java applications that would allow a person to browse the files of a Bluetooth-enabled device, as was possible on phones previous to the K750? |

try bluetooth browser, but it didn't work for me in my w800i, maybe that version was bad. I never try againg. Better you try yourself. the app is called "BT browser".

Assuming I've found the correct application, it doesn't let me send files to other phones. It only shows me information on other Bluetooth devices. |

You have the correct app but it CANNOT browse other phones,

Its not illegal because you have to pair first, so the other person *should* in theory know.

Now they know, coz of that whole commwarrior virus, when I had the K700 2 years ago I had access to at least 3 colleugues phones  |
