Got a huge problem with the latest three uk firmware. It does not allow you to disable instant viewer. The option to disable has been removed on the latest version. The viewer itself has not been removed. |

Odd as I did a SEUS update and it was removed, but then again I had turned off anyway. |

3-UK Customisation Changes
I had previously updated to R1JE001 via SEUS, but this weekend my phone died so I had to send away via a 3-Store to get fixed...
On return I still have R1JE001 but there are 3 changes:
1. 3-Player is gone from the Main Menu, now the normal Music Player
2. The EMS animations (Add Item > Animations) have changed to be the same as the ones on the walkman phones.
3. The Music Internet button (next to the left soft button) now goes straight to the internet, previously the R1JE001 SEUS update made it have a 2 second pause before you launched the internet.
Point 3 is very annoying that this fix is now broken.

Hi,
re: point 3. the "music" button on three se phones is just the normal internet button branded with headphones. as such you should be able to point it to the music page (or any other) by changing the homepage setting for the internet profile. settings -connectivity , internet settings, internet profiles, select 3browse locked, more - advanced, change homepage.

Before I had the full re-flash at a service centre this button launched the 3 player java app, which basically wrapped to the 3 music store on their wap site... On the full flash 3-viewer is no longer on the main menu....
Anyway as the profile is locked I created a new one, changed then homepage and set the page to google... It did not work, I assume even thought the 3-player is removed from the main menu some sort of hard coding sets this button to the 3 music store. |

eerr guys...what is the latest firmware for K618i?? coz yesterday i check at SEUS its said that the newest 1 available for K618i..... its R1KG001..... its APAC for asian region.... I just updated mine

Grrr, I've got that problem too. Is there any way to *downgrade* the phone to a previous firmware version, with the instant viewer option in the menu? I could then disable it and re-upgrade the phone to the current firmware version.
If it's possible, how does one get hold of previous firmware versions?
Alternatively, is it possible to edit the menu options manually (when the phone is connected to a computer) Someone mentioned a menu.ml file on the phone, so I thought it might be possible to fiddle with that, but I can't see it when the phone is connected to the computer. Any ideas? |

I saw that on topsony that the latest firmware for k610 is R6BC002 and it's available in generic and vodafone branding.
Can someone post what are the improvements in this new firmware? |
