@ares..
mistake about a2dp? try askin someone who sells or has intimate knowledge of the handset to inform u that the 6280 does support it... i have used it alot wit stereo headsets wit both left and right workin!
and also the S60 phones which dont support can do wit a piece of additional software that Nokia can install in all of their repair centres!!!
And what do u mean by the comment i dont have anything to bring to the convo? at least i can try to air my views about somethin else and not be so narrow minded that i have to flame everyone who has a different view point than maself?
I've been testing phones at a high level for around 4yrs now and know what it takes to make a phone great... this thread was a way of me airing my displeasure at the fact SE have released a handset which features wise is going backwards slightly and that no1 on here can say a bad word as a lot of SE fanboys seem to not like ne1 bad mouthin SE lol.
Its threads like this that would push people off this forum and onto others which allow a more adult chat about the differences about handsets and manufacturers and not a flame war (which is what this thread has turned into lol.)
I'm still sittin in the ball park that the P990i is too late in features and that they r lucky they have a very loyal base for the P series of handsets... and i've also noticed that sales of this handset havent been as amazin as the P900 or P800 was (i have acess to this info!)...
I have seen more an more ppl goin for devices from HTC an blackberry r doin well! But whilst sales of the P990i have been good there has been a drop which only proves the fact that SE waited a little too long in many ppls eyes!
Anyways thats me done for this thread as the only ppl now inhabitin it are flamers/ SE fanboys who dont wanna hear a bad word said about their beloved SE lol...

You insist in LIES
6280 DOES NOT HAVE a2dp...you just have to check NOKIAīs own specs, and this list of A2DP compatible phones
http://www.robertwebbe.nl/A2DP.html
Like it was said, right now, Nokia only has the 8800 model in the market, supporting such feature
You CANīT install anything only software based in a phone and make it a2dp ready, unless you use specific hardware at the same time
I just canīt consider anyone that inistis in such big lies OVER AND OVER to be worth of debating any subject seriously
I end here talking to you, go tell your storys to your little mates at school, they might believe you

i can't see from the spec's how much better the p990 is against the n80...they are pretty similar...except for the camera and wifi..990/b n80/g..
not including the touchscreen obviously..it's a uiq thing.

full qwerty keyboard, a2dp, touchscreen, bigger screen, better battery life, larger memory card support to name a few..
|
|
querty keyboard/touchscreen(uiq specific as compared to nokia)..of course, the screen res is lower, sound quality is inadequate, web browser inferior, to name a few (in favour of the n80).. |

web browser inferior? sound quality inferior? ROTFL sound quality is precisely one of the great strenghs of p990, its awesome, and regarding the browser cant see why n80s is better, opera is very good, and with fast and easy wifi set up, even better (posting from bed btw lol)

i don't understand why there are so many complaints against this phone. my p990 is working perfectly and has everything i need. Call quality is superb, pda functions are working as i planned, camera quality is suprsingly good, and music/calling with ds970 headset is the ultimate dream. This phone, as of now, is the best phone on the market in my point of view. |

Sorry, happybpc, but you must be the only P990 user in the world not having crashes in your unit, with a good battery life, without problems with the personal ringtones and personal pictures in the contacts agenda, with a camera 100% working and having a perfect information of the calls history !!!! |

Of course, P990 is better than N80 in all aspects except maybe availability of 3rd party programs and 40-50% cheaper in price.
on the other hand, p990 is no match against n93 or n95. And that is a fact (albeit a painful one for some se fans) |
