I AM FACING CERTAIN PROBLEMS IN MY SONY ERICSSON MOBILE NO. W 810 i. PLZ. HELP ME SOLVING THEM.....
1. THE SPEAKER VOLUME IS LOW AS COMPARED TO OTHER S.E. MOBILES. HOW TO INCREASE THE VOLUME. EVEN THE VOLUME OF W 700 i IS HIGHER THAN THIS. I HAVE DONE ALL THE THINGS - I HAVE INCREASED IT FROM THE SIDE BUTTON ALSO.
2. HOW TO LOCK THE MESSAGE PLACE SO THAT NO ONE CAN OPEN OUR MESSAGES...

u cannot increase the volume more, whats your fw version? the message menu cannot be locked.
ps: turn off caps lock

and even am facing same prob..speaker volume is low..!!

hhmmm - mine's r4db005 and sometimes I have to turn the
volume down !!!!

my fw no. is CXC 1250316 R4DB005 and i feel that my speaker volume is low than w 700i |

I think that's the latest firmware. I hope the volume bug will be fixed in the future fw release. Mine is a bug-free R4CK003 Why fix if it's not broken?

HI. Sometimes the problem is not in the speaker. I've W800i, and some of my songs are very loud (making the phone sound quality crappy), and others are very quet that I almost cannot hear them at all . Not like that I'm joking,but they're very quiet. So try any music processing software (recommend Sony Sound Forge) to see if the song which you want to increase it's volume for, if it is lower than usual. Some songs can be increased their volume without losing any sound quality. |

Btw am not sure if someone noticed..!!
am facing one prob...
i have 3 WAV music files..in my W810i
1 - Give lots and lots of Crackling Noise when played
2 - GIves little cracking
3 - Runs smooth as ever..!!
Btw..when all these three files are played in my frends N72.... no CRACKLING..
i didnt understood...SE W810i boastin of best Sound system...and how come crackles..!!
how can i cure that...or i even wont mind processin file...to avoid that crackling on my cell

all the SE smartfones hav the capability of playin .wav files up to 1600hz only
so the crackling noise is heard even in p910
convert the wav file into mp3 or m4a which r better than wav
wish w810 would be sooner supported by FAR

1. my fw is r4e031 and the sound isn't lou at all. i use custom walkman EQ and raised all trebble bars (the 3, 4, and last bar) sound a lil better, but still sucks compared to s700.
2. my w810 CANT PLAY WAV. dont know why... =( any help? |
