Hi,

I have the motorola v3i razr phone (bought yesterday). I have a few questions and hoping someone might be able to help me as the instructions are not too clever...

In the top left of the screen I have 3 blue rectangles. The instruction book says this means GPRS data available. Now I aint mobile tech minded so does this mean my GPRS is on and costing me or is it something I need not worry about?

There is a feature in the instruction book about IM messaging. I am on vodafone but can not find this feature anywhere on my phone. I have followed the instructions as to where IM messaging is located but its not there.

Last thing is, Can message delivery reports be put permanently?

Thanks for reading

the 3 little triangles just means gprs is avaliable in that area, not that its on or costing you money,

vodafone have proberly removed the IM feature like they do most things

head over to www.motox.info and read more about what you can do with ur new phone

Many Thanks for your reply,

was watching new uk based vodafone tv advert. They were advertising 3G and the lass's phone looked like the Motorola V3i. Is it a 3G then?

Also, anyone had look with putting the text delivery reports on permenent?

No, your phone is not 3G. I think the phone you saw was a V3x.

The v3i is non 3G capable, the V3x is 3G capable.

This is a V3i:

This is a V3x:

Good phone - for a Motorola I had one before my W810. It was factory unbranded, and quite dependable.

I'll second the Moto-X web site recommendation. Lots of software, good info, and helpful folks there.
