I went into a CPW store the other day tp try the 7210, but they said Nokia had to recall it because it was emitting high levels of radiation, is this true or another CPW excuse?

Radiation can be controlled but bugs are unexpected!

bugs wouldn't be unexpected if nokia actually tested the handset before releasing it - they are loosing the plot big time.

They certainly do seem to be losing the plot. While I was in the voda store buying my GX-10, my friend - a long time Nokia owner and Vodafone subscriber - enquired about the availability of the Nokia 8910 (the titanium one), which appears in the latest Vodafone catalog. The sales lady said that they (Vodafone) would not be getting it as it had failed UK network testing!! She said there were now no plans to offer it as they felt that by the time it went through the tests again and passed it would be uninteresting, and since they had not expected big sales in the first place, they aren't bothering with it.. I only hope that the P800 doesn't end up in the same boat.

It's quite interesting to note that the two most talked about phones in general are a Panasonic and a Sharp, beware Scandanavia, the Japanese are coming...

The 7210 HAS NOT been recalled due to radiation or bugs or anything like that. The reason why CPW and every other company in the UK doesn't have them yet is that nokia are unavailable to supply enough at the moment. CPW have had a few in but only as sim free versions as they haven't been network approved either yet!

If the networks in the UK could lower the amount of testing they did we would have a lot more cooler phones the same time as the rest of the world!

that is the biggest crap i ever heard, are you actualy trying to say, that nokia with their leading positions on the marketplace, would not know how to manage the radiation.... these 7210 use same transmiters and speakers as any other nokia, none of the other models was recalled for this ridiculous reason,,, i don't understand how some of you could fall for this bs, by the way a way to find out if its true, would be calling nokia somewhere in europe....

Theres been no recall!...i work for CPW and we had 50 in, then another 100...that was it!...they were all sold offline at £349.99 and as you can imagine they went quick!...we have 10000 on order but good old Nokia cant give us a delivery date!...should hopefully be mid november though...They have also said that the bluetooth headsets should appear in about 3 weeks, but as with all things from them, seeing is believing!
