Hi there, I'm looking for some advice in setting up e-mail on my D750i from T-Mobile. I went to the Sony Ericsson web site and submitted my details. They sent me the settings via text so I installed them but when I try to send an e-mail via the phone I get "Wrong mailbox of password" error message. The password is correct and the mailbox is my user name, but still cant access e-mails.
Anyone got any advice????

I experience exactly the same problem with my K750i with my yahoo.co.uk mail account. the strange thing is that when I replace the mailbox and password with my second (and older) yahoo.co.uk account, it works. I wonder if newer mail accounts aren't enabled for pop3 access.

thx best way is to call the operator itself and let it send via sms. have to admit, that the operators are using the se site aswell, but at the call u can mention your problems, so they can chack it whats wrong with the settings u get.

@BobaFett: like I said, the settings work with a different mailbox and password, so I don't think the problem here has to do with the settings.

@Jasonleeg: Just found the solution to this problem, I've got email working on my K750i using both email addresses.
You need to enable pop3 access on your yahoo mail account. To do this, you'll have to subscribe (free) to yahoo! delivers. This you'll find under mail options in the top right hand corner of your mail home page. Good luck.
BTW I understand only yahoo.uk and yahoo.in still offer pop3 access for free.
