hi recentley bought a nokia n73 unlocked and put my 3g orange sim in it but nothing 3g worked.
after ringing orange about 13 times and finally getting through i was told i couldnt use 3g becuase they did not support the n73.
i was abit annoyed at this as i was looking forward to video calling my mates.
jus fort id check wid all u guys.
is there no way i can video call ppl with my orange sim?

also is there anyway to change the keypad on the n73 as mine seems to rubbing away

there should be a way to do this, networks talk alot of sh*t from past experience, make sure 3g is enabled in yuor network options should be set to dual mode or soething instead of gsm

If that doesnt work then phone orange and double check that they have 3g activated on your account. Tell them you have a N70 or something (something they already support).

Hi Spikey,
Go to Tools, Settings, Network and select dual mode if you have a 3G Sim that is active this is all you should need to do. To get the correct settings just go to the Nokia site and enter your details and they will be sent to you with instructions for installation. Hope that helps

menu>tools>sett. wizard>operator, that will get u all the settings you need. afaik you dont need any settings for video calling anyway, as long as you have a 3g signal. just on a side note im using mine on t-mobile and have been since it first came out, and its always worked perfectly even though they didnt support it....same goes for my n80...networks do talk alot of sh*t

kk well thanks 4 all the ehlp guys changed my network thingy to dual mode and on the way to skl it sed 3g and had full signal so im jus guesin tht i dont have good signal in my area:-(
