Between E70 and N71, which is the better phone? Forget the form factors, that'll be for me to choose, but functionality wise which is better? What about their feature? Music playback, and its quality?

I also wanted to know whether this phone also doesnt have a wide application base as some of the other new Nokias. Does this one come with the new symbian with no applications?

Hi QVGA,
It does appear to have the same screen as the N73, and what do you mean by lack of apps as it has music and video players an e-mail client Office and PDF viewers which is more than just basic IMO. There are a lack of 3rd party apps currently but this is changing quite quickly for S60 3rd Edition although IMO these are what tend to cause problems so i recommend to only ever install what you really need. For any one that wants to add themes on their Nokia/ symbian phone there is www.symbian.mobilethemes.com where once you register you can download themes, wallpapers and Operator logo's to customise your phone all for free.

Does the N71 suffer from screen scratching problem, because of its form factor? The screen getting scratched from the keypad?

And the real tempter is its screen. 35x49 is currently the biggest one for a non-touchscreen phone. N73 has 35x48 and N93 with 35x41.
