I have a T68 R2A and V66. I love both phones as they are completely different.

The v66 is really nice looking and very very good to hold and carry in the pocket!

The screen is not so bad compared to other small fones such as nokia 8xxx series. Although the reception on the phone is not as good as T68! I really like the V66 and T68 but they both have their flaws!

But I must say that V66 SMS is way FASTER than T68!

I hope sms becomes much faster in R2B, although I some how doubt it as even more fucntions will be added possibly not allowing sms to be improved!

If SMS were faster on T68 then it would be the best phone in the world.

If you're a serious TXTer i wouldnt advise of a T68!

Does anyone feel different?

And what makes you think that MMS version will have faster SMS T9 ? Do you know this for fact?
I'm not so sure - Ericsson phones have always had slow text input and menus so I reckon the T68 will always be less than ideal for SMS.

I'm using the MMS software, and I can say the SMS input is improved. My friend is a serious SMSer (how you ever can be, but anyways), and he felt the text input was a lot faster than the public software (that he's using), but still it could be improved.
