Vodafone Germany has launched Mobile Earth,an aerial photo mapping service similar to Google's popular desktop equivalent.
ESATO NEWS
The service is available as a free download and then Euro4.99 a month thereafter, inclusive of data used to download maps and images (an average session uses 100kb). Image resolution depends on phone capabilities and screen size, but LocatioNet says a Nokia 6230i should display most photos adequately.LocatioNet is currently in discussions to launch Mobile Earth with other operator and brand partners.Click here for DEMO www.locationet.com
