Could somebody please help. I need sw to compress MP3 to smaller files to get some tunes into the 32mb mmc card. I know this has been up before but all links and tips from then has expired as far as I can see.

get Ahead nero burning rom, it is a cdr sw, but it has an MP3PRO encoder there, so you can compress mp3 at lower bit rates without losing on quality fo the sound, it will not make the size 10 times smaller, but at least a 6mb file will go down to like 4 or even 3.5 mb. even though it is the soft for the cdr, you don't have to use it that way, just use the encoder and then save the file.. you can download it at www.nero.com and find a crack for it online, otherwise you have to pay...

you are welcome, but make sure that you get the 5.5.9.14 version it is the latest and if your nero is registred or cracked, you can upgrade for free, the mp3pro soft is better there... take care.

The hpm-10 doesn´t realy support mp3pro. You can play the files but it will not sound so good. You will notice that if you try it, I did. One better thing to do is to convert the tracks to mp3 VBR (Variable Bit-Rate). I use Musicmatch to do this.

so , i have music match and it kinda annoys me wiv only 9 trak max on d card. how do i transfer the mp3 file to mp3 VBR ?
