It was such an awsome phone, totally one of its kind! Why isnt Nokia bringing any upgrade to it? |

In a round about way the Nokia 770 internet tablet is a real replacement for the 7710 (which is still available btw)

Series 90 was discarded as soon as 7710 was released.
7700 was a failure and 7710 took a long time to be launched and the device was not a big seller.
It's immense though, I will have one sometime

The Nokia 7710 wasn't meant to be, it was finished even before it was announced.
Reason: Series 90.
Somehow, nokia and touch screen phones don't mix. I purchased the 7710, but sold it due to almost non-existent application base. Then I purchased the UIQ based 6708, same problem, standard UIQ apps don't run.
Solution: Windows Mobile.
