Is there a way to get the browser icon and bookmarks in the activity menu (actually Orange's bastard home screen) to launch Opera rather than the SE browser. I've seen a lot about editing the menu with that there FAR manager which might be what's needed, but that doesn't work with this phone, does it? |

Can't do that... you get "cannot go further" if you try to open the application menu when selecting the target for a new shortcut. But even if it di it wouldn't allow you to use the bookmarks functionality. |

actually u can, u just have to be tricky. u have to go to the "organizer", there is the application also displayed and there u can set it as shortcut. donnow why isnt it possible at "file manager", but probably a "smart" guy at se wrote the fw...

I've got My applications under organizer. If I try to open my applications I get cannot go further. If this works on other K800s, is this some random feature Orange have hacked out of their bespoke version of the OS? |

u cannot go further in a generic fw aswell, but at least u have a faster access, then to go through the whole menu system. its really crap the apps cannot be accesed directly, but thats the way it is, we all have to live with it. even in t68 was possible to access a game as a shortcut...
