Hello

Simple but (every morning!) important tip needed..:

Does anybody know if the volume (and volume escalation) on the K800 alarm is controllable, and if so where?

The volume of the alarm escalates (unlike the ringtone setting) - and seems (probably because of the time of day) to be much louder than the ringtone.

Is the alarm tone volume controllable independently of the ring signal, or does it get it's volume setting from there? And does it always escalate - even when the ringtone doesn't - or can this be controlled?

Is there any way - other than using a lower volume file - of reducing the alarm tone volume?

Many thanks for any tips

Paul

I don't think it's controlable from anywhere. The alarm signals even if your phone's on "Silent", and the escalation part can't be changed I guess. I looked around everywhere, and until I get used to it, I still use my old T39m as my alarm now, along with my K800i so that I'd get used to it being there, and still have my T39m for back-up

This should definitely be an option!!

The other problem is that if you have vibrate on it vibrates as well - quite a scary noise to wake up to on a morning
